Tomato Stewed Green Bean

1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
2 pinches of salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups tomatoes, fresh, chopped
1 sprig basil, leaves removed
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb. green beans, fresh or frozen, remove ends


1. Set your instant pot to the sauté mode, add tablespoon olive oil and
heat it.

2. Add the crushed garlic clove and cook for 2-minutes. Add in
tomatoes and swirl everything to mix. Add steamer basket filled
with green beans.

3. Sprinkle some salt on the beans. Close and lock lid to pot, and set
to Manual with a cook time of 5-minutes. When the cook time is
completed, release the pressure using the quick-release.

4. Remove the steamer basket and add the beans in with the tomato
sauce at bottom of instant pot. Set on sauté mode for 5-minutes,
stirring often.

5. Add bean mix to a large serving bowl, and top with fresh basil
leaves and 1 teaspoon of extra-virgin olive oil. Serve warm.
